Entering the Dragon's den: Come to the HSBC AGM
May 17th 2011 /
Robin Hood

On Friday 27th May, HSBC is holding it's Annual General Meeting. The meetings are events where shareholders, management and staff come together to reflect on the year and look at the year ahead. This year it will be happening in the Barbican Centre, London from 11 am.

We will be there finding out what is happening, asking some difficult questions and spreading the word about the campaign.  We would like you to help us do this. To come to the AGM please enter the question you most like to ask the bosses of HSBC. Please also enter your email so we can get in touch with you. Deadline midday today.

Thanks for all the comments. Deadline for questions has now closed. Joe Cassell will be coming with us to the AGM to ask this:

'Questions in. We will have a merry man Joe coming to the HSBC AGM with us asking this:

"This question puzzles me and has done for a long time. What do very rich people have to gain from not helping the poorest and most vulnerable out? Put another way, what good can you do for yourselves or others by resisting a Robin Hood Tax?"'

We'll report back and let you know how it goes.

Has your council signed up to support the Robin Hood Tax?
